PUSHING TIN: Marx American Airlines 727 Astro Jet

The 727 was one of Boeing's most popular jetliners having been built from 1963 to 1984 and serving in the fleets of many domestic and international airlines as both a passenger and cargo jet. Astro Jet was the moniker American Airlines used for its fleet of 727s. Marx offered quite a few American Airlines licensed airplane/airport related toys and this is one of the most impressive. It's a grand Hunk O' Tin measuring 16 1/4" (41.3cm) L x 5" (12.7cm) H x 13 1/2" (34.3cm) wingspan and sports a beautiful American Airlines livery. Mine has a couple of dings on it but it's still a wonderful display piece. Enjoy!
