This is the last part
of our look at the Royal Mail’s Tribute to Gerry Anderson Stamp Set. The first
part featured a large envelope containing a set of standard lick-‘em-&-stick-‘em
type stamps. The envelope also served as a story board for a Gerry Anderson bio
as well as a short history of Supermarionation. The second envelope had a set
of four lenticular stamps and was a beautifully done tribute to the
Thunderbirds. This final portion was a nicely done four-page comic insert. This
set is perfect for the Gerry Anderson collector who likes ephemera – those odds
and ends of collectibles that either aren’t toys, or models, or comic books.
